The Lutjebroek sheep wool is spun from the dairy sheep of the Schapenstreek. These sheep are often crossed with Solognote sheep. These have a hazel-colored and softer fleece, which ultimately improves the wool of the dairy sheep.

This keeps the lines short and allows us to know exactly where the wool comes from and where it has been before it ends up in our shop. All Schaapjeswol is hand-dyed, sometimes with plants, but also with environmentally friendly dyes.
