The sheep that provide our Marsepein colour graze at Rhijnestein. The flock has a young owner who enthusiastically acquires several sheep from the Treekerwissel flock. Due to their kinship with the French Solognote sheep, they have a beautiful hazelnut color and a soft fleece. This makes our Marsepein a very popular base color. The wool is spun in Denmark and is suitable for needle sizes 4, 5, and 6 (depending on the chosen project).

This keeps the lines short and allows us to know exactly where the wool comes from and where it has been before it ends up in our shop. All Schaapjeswol is hand-dyed, sometimes with plants, but also with environmentally friendly dyes.
